Challenges For Taiwanese University Students of this Generation (2.3)

Confucian Chinese believes that only through education can people succeed. Therefore, most Asian parents want their children to get the best education they can afford.

National Universities somehow escape the crisis
of booming numbers of universities in Taiwan.  
As a result our Nobel laureate Lee Yuan-Tze, made President Lee Teng-Hui adopted his education reform, which includes increasing the number of colleges and universities.

The consequences, however, dropped the value of university diploma. Now graduating from university no longer means assurance for jobs. 

“Knowing what I will do in the future when I graduate” said Johnny, a freshman in the English department at NCU. He points out that even though almost every student can enter university nowadays, but only few of these students knows what they are going to do when graduate. “Because my major is English; I will enhance my English ability and develop my critical thinking. Moreover, I will cultivate my social skill by participating in various activities.”

Chad, a fresh man in the English department at NCU comes up the same conclusion as Johnny. Chad suggested that if   anyone planning to get a job after graduate; they would have better start preparing in advance and find their interest as fast as possible.”

There is no denial that a university diploma in Taiwan is losing its promise for jobs. It is the trend and obstacles for every university students of this generation. Every University students should begin thinking and knowing what they are going to do in the future. After all, the main goal of attending university is to acquire higher education and getting a stable profession.

Facing the Fact that We Can Not Dodge- University Students of Our Generation 2.2

As a result our Nobel laureate Lee Yuan-Tze, made President Lee Teng-Hui adopted his education reform, which includes increasing the number of colleges and universities.

The consequences, however, dropped the value of university diploma. Now graduating from university no longer means assurance for jobs. It becomes a mutual phenomenon to attend university.

Why We Should Plan Our University Life

As a result,  our Nobel laureate Lee Yuan-Tze, made President Lee Teng-Hui adopted his education reform, which includes increasing the numbers of colleges and universities.

The consequences, however, lower the value of university diploma. Now graduating from university no longer means a guarantee for jobs, simply because every high school graduates can attend university.

“Knowing what I will do in the future when I graduate” said Johnny, a fresh man in the English department at NCU. He points out that even though almost everyone can attend university but many of these students do not know why they enter university. “Because my major is English; I will enhance my English ability and develop my critical thinking. Also I will cultivate my social skill by joining different activities.”

Chad, a fresh man in the English department at NCU also answered the same response as Johnny. Chad suggested that if anyone wants to get a job after graduate; they had better start planning in advance.”
